I think Joseph Paxton did most of the tree planting at Chatsworth. (Well he probably had assistants but he supervised a lot of it).

That Capability Brown was a pig giving it large with all the massive bollocks. The Duke of Dev told him to do one and brought Jeremy Paxman in to plant some trees, but he was too busy with Crystal Palace or summat.

So. Let's start with the seven in the photo. Who have signed professional contracts. With the Disclaimer - all should be read as my understanding and recollection. I'm a Drinker, not The Oracle.
Jordan Amissah is a tall, stocky goalkeeper. He's one of the scouted foreign lads in the Academy. He has previously been in Dortmund & Schalke systems. Last season, U23 goalkeeping duties were shared between Jake Eastwood (now on loan at Scunthorpe), Marcus Dewhurst & Jordan. Because Jake was often needed as first team third keeper cover. And Marcus was on loan in non league football, Jordan played 10 times for the U23s. More on the other players to follow....

Marcus Dewhurst also played 10 times for our U23s last season. In pecking order terms, he's probably third behind Moore & Eastwood. He's gone to Portugal as second keeper. He is also a central part of the England set up. He was in the U17 EURO squad. Recently he's played U18 for England. In a recent friendly four team tournament, he was pushed up for a corner in the 90th minute & scored the equaliser. Interestingly, as a kid & early teen, he was an OUTFIELD player. Only switching to the Gloves relatively recently. I feel, that sometimes, his keeping is a little unorthodox. But, I like the kid. Plus, he is the best swearer at the club.

Jean Belehouan is French. And has previously been in Manchester United's system. He's a defender. 11 starts & 1 sub at U23 last season. I see him more as a centre back. But, when the U18s play four at the back, he sometimes plays conventional full back. I've seen nothing that makes the hair on my neck stand up. But, he's a solid, consistent performer. George Broadbent was also in Manchester United's system. He's a utility midfield player. He seems to have been around at the Academy for ages. Look. He's behind Regan Slater & I think also Oli Greaves, now on loan at Barrow. But, he made 17 starts and 6 subs at U23 last season. He's a mainstay at that level. He's not stereotyped yet. He's even played centre back when Travis has had to juggle. Got a good engine & equally at home defensive or holding or attacking. Needs to push on from his obvious talents. Sammy Ompreon was in Chelsea's system. He's been around at Shirecliffe for a long time. He was a short arse. But, he's growing & beginning to look an athlete. Essentially a striker - tricky channel runner rather than target. He's NOT an U23 regular as yet. I found him frustrating when I first saw him. All tricks, no impact. But, he's learning the game a bit now. Big season for him this. Needs to get into games. More on the other players to follow

Finally, of the seven in the photo signing professional. Jake Young was signed to our Academy from non league Guiseley. He's an out & out target man striker. I haven't seen much of him. I always feel the same about our young strikers. Kid, you need to score more. But, of course, Super Scorers Jordan Hallam & Jake Wright Jnr did, and still didn't make it. There's nothing I've seen in Jake which makes me feel he's the one. More on the other players to follow

Personally, I’d rather Jordan was a catcher, or even a puncher, we’ve had our fair share of Amissahs over the years and it’s not a good trait in a keeper. I’m here all week......

Presumably, if he was in two German systems, he’s been let go and considered not good enough over there?

Then, the other nine mentioned lads who have signed scholarships. You'll understand that I've seen much less of these. Of course, Hasan Ayari was a 10m views viral YouTube sensation when he was six - billed as "The Little Messi". For me, he's got a simple skill that stands out. He moves at pace, going forward, with the ball glued to his foot. Me Likey. I've been at games when his teammates have been on his back for not working hard enough.
I like what I've seen of Frankie Maguire. He's an even younger Regan Slater a-like. Hard working, short but stocky midfielder. He scored a fluke goal v Chesterfield last Saturday. You can have him as a "one to watch".
Ryan Viggars has played age group football for Wales. I've seen him most as a striker. Channel runner & target man. Good on the ball & knows where the net is.
Daniel Jebbison, William Osula, Andre Brookes, Tristan Skeritt and Harvey Cullinan I haven't seen enough of to comment
The only thing I can add about goalkeeper Josh Chapman is - he seems to have had a full ginger beard since he was 14

William Osula is danish I believe. I think he won a talent contest set up by Man Utd and we picked him up for the academy.

I'll be honest. I don't know the circumstances of him leaving Academy systems in Germany. I will make the point that there is a difference between "not good enough for Schalke" and "no good". And, I will make the point that in any of their teams, Schalke can only play 11, inc one keeper. Maybe they thought Jordan was a superb keeper, but that someone else was superberer.

I'm going to say No. I tend to get my info in dribs n drabs from a variety of sources. I'm not plugging. But, if you read my two Blogs from Games 1 & 2. I conclude the main "wonder where they are" players are Jake Bennett & Simeon Oure. George Cantrill has been announced by Guiseley. And, today, Reon Potts has been announced by Scunthorpe.
