When barny agrees with you, surely that is enough proof that maybe you're wrong?

No I don't tend to base my judgement on the likes, but the facts of where we are.

We haven't played well consistently nor have we consistently got the results.

I fail to see where being adventurous has got us, to date.

It's a sad state of affairs when a new pitch, shirts and dug outs can be seen as improvements to the team, the new pitch was happening with or without Adkins.

William Henry Foulkes states that the football has improved, it hasn't, not consistently. We played better football last season. We score more goals, but at the expense of a defence and midfield

I'm sure Adkins will do wel, I'm fully behind him and know he needs time to put his stamp on the side. However, despite Jim Phipps wanting positivity from fans and others on here moaning about fans, it's not as simple as blindly enjoying a similar or at times inferior product to last season.

Adkins knows full well that both his and the sides performances haven't warranted anything more than the responses they've had from the crowd. They know they must do much better to firstly stabilise the team (i.e. Find his best 11 and formation) and secondly maintain the consistent results to try and get into 1st or second slot.

Let's not forget, last season we sacked a manager based on his failure to get promotion. Put aside the cup success, promotion was the only marker.

So far were in reach, but not on target for automatic promotion.
