If he can't make at Serie B level, then he won't make it at English Beezer homes level

He'll probably end up back at Derby.
I think he's a decent player, who would definitely benefit from a consistent run in a settled team. However, I'm not sure he'd get that with us, so would probably be an unproductive signing. IMO.

They weren't relegated, they were demoted because of match fixing as part of the Antonio Conte investigation.

He scored 2 in 13 last season but only started 6. Don't think he'd be the right move for us now, can't see us signing another striker.

I think he's a good player, saw him a bit in his extended run at Norwich and also when he was with us.

Although I don't think now would be the right time, we have enough strikers and if anything, we need a winger.

Thought he was very average in our team a few years ago but then again that was under the Blackwell Hoof days so perhaps he would flourish better in Danny's team. However, I think our forward line is looking ok at present (considering our current financial status) and, as Norfolk said, if we are looking to sign anyone it really needs to be a winger as I do not think Flynn has enough in his locker. I would also like to see another centre half come in as cover and a challenge to Collins and Maguire.

please no was ok a few seasons ago but with our younger line up plus surplus of our eldest striker not for me thank you very much.

Wonder if he would be looking for some kind of renumeration package , possibly a weekly wage ? Could prove to be a bit of a sticking point with our strict wage budget of fuck all

I bet we could get three months out of him with "I sent the cheque on Friday. Did it not get to you yet?" or "Really? Not gone through yet? I'll speak with the bank about it."

Forest, Ipswich and Brighton chasing our former striker. Thought he would be long retired by now.

29 years old, so younger than I thought, but his scoring record is not that great, although he did put one past the filth of course.

29 !!!!. Seems ages ago since he was playing for us Grappler. I agree with Boo Radley, didn't seem to be given much of a chance by us, but as you rightly point out his scoring record isn't too hot. Might improve the first two teams, but can't see what he would add to Brighton. Anyway suspect it's another rumour that will die a death.

Showed glimpses of real class. Loved his goal against Wednesday. Where is he now?
