Sorry, never heard of him. I don't follow German football that closely, only St. Pauli, which I go and see from time to time (truth be told, I don't follow English football closely outside of the Blades). What I will say, though, is that (IMO) the 2nd division here is quite a poor standard compared to the Championship, or at least the drop off from top to bottom in that division is quite steep - and Bochum aren't doing well. It could be one of those Wilder unearthing a gem moments, or turning coal into diamonds of course.....

I’ve read that he’s been widely scouted by the big boys. £6.5m is the rumoured fee that his team want.

i have to say I'm a bit surprised by the valuation. I've only seen him twice, on TV only. The two games I have seen them live I don't think he was playing. In the 2 TV games he looked like he had a bit of a mistake in him. He is still young though. He can play a long pass though. JOC backup?
Edit: just got a message from my Bochum friend who is a far better judge of a player than me and he says, "future international, 2 footed, great great vision".
I'd trust his view over mine.
