Are there player cliques ??

Picked up on a bit of body language last night that suggests Adkins ascertion that the players are together, committed and have good team spirit may be somewhat economical with the truth.

I am now quite certain that Sammon and Sharp do not see eye to eye (distinctly frosty celebration of Sammons goal) and wondered what others thought ?

Also Collins bawling out of some of the younger players, typically to cover for his own inefficiencies, did not seem to go down well !!

I suspect so. I think there's a divided dressing room with some players that were loyal to Clough not happy with how Adkins works, probably resenting Collins coming back into the side, others resenting the new signings thinking they're not adding enough, some thinking certain players aren't putting a shift in and some thinking the kids don't appreciate what they have and take the piss.

I think a few people thought Clough was absolutely safe when we spent money on his signings, particularly Brayford. I remember someone posting when we signed him 'what happens if Clough goes?'

I think we put our eggs in one basket with Clough.

It will be an amazing feat if Adkins can sort this out.

One episode last night summed Collins up last night. In the first half Bob Harris threw a simple throw 20 yards to him in loads of space ,the ball bounced over his leg so he proceeded to bollock Harris while still controlling the ball ,he carried this on until the opposition got uncomfortably close and he had to pass back to Long ,the guy is a total embarrassment to himself.

Although I suspect they were all gleefully sucking each other off as a reward for achieving two goals against Shrewsbury last night.

I really can't stand the sight of Neill Collins playing for us anymore. I get pissed off and wound up just watching him. The way he slates players constantly is simply embarrassing. Clough sussed him out totally and I was glad he ditched him.
