The anaesthetist was a Huddersfield fan and as he was putting me under he reminded me of that penalty, bad story could have resulted in a bad dream so that curse has now been broken😂

When we are about to do a hip replacement on a football fan it can be fun to ‘relax’ the patient by teasing them about their allegiance. So if it’s a Spurs fan they get asked if it’s the Arsenal hip they want fitting. Normally gets a nervous laugh from the patient.

Had both my hip joints replaced 30 years ago. Dont remember any dreams but I remember telling people it was the best sleep I'd had for years.
As for being nervous re tomorrow- I'm more excited really, going away on holiday the day after adds to the anticipation. Also no time to be nervous!

odd really because I think they injected anaesthetic and then gave me some gas. Whenever I had gas at the dentist when I was younger I used to dream. One dream I vividly remember was me being Robin Hood.

Funny how things look similar. I thought it was a view from Delves Lane walking down towards what was the Ski Slope at the top of Rother Valley!

Yes. I'm there for the weekend. Met a mate Friday and meeting my lane mates round about lunchtime. Quite excited, not shitting it by any means. Too old to get upset about football.

Still calm here but it's building. I got here last night and can see Wembley arch from the house I'm staying at. On the way down last night there were far more Sunderland fans than Blades, I do hope that it's more 50/50 today!
 
Yep, a bit nervous now. Coffee, breakfast then a short journey from Enfield to Angel for a few drinks. Feeling quite circumspect. Obviously amazing if we win, slightly tempered by the prospects of next season. If we loose, hopefully another competitive season in a great league. Travel safely all & UTFB!

What happens happens, been through it all, don't drink anymore, life's like that, my son whose 14 will be either devastated or happy beyond belief,, me, meh
 
Relax, there is no need for nerves today. We will win, and we will win comfortably. No dramas. No hassles 👍
