Archer Expectation Vs Reality

The expectation.

Archer picks up the ball from a lucky deflection and has a clear run at goal with 2 defenders on his back. He performs a wonderful little shuffle allowing the 2 defenders to catch him up, we all applaud the holdup play that allows our players to get down the wings. He passes out wide and 3 of our players fuck about passing little triangles trying to get the perfect cross, we all applaud the excellent passing ability. The cross finally goes in to Archer, to where he had the ball in the first place, but now the giant defence is set, so its an easy clearance off a Wolves head and their on the break, our defence sprints back and furious George gets in a last ditch tackle to kick the ball into touch, we all spunk ourselves over the defending ignoring the upcoming Wolves attacking throw in from which they score.

Anyone out there who is an experimental/minimalist electronica musician (something like Pole), I'd like to hear an extended dub built up from the thwack of that shot as it hits the crossbar then down into the turf.

Great technique for the shot. Split second to look up, steady himself, aim, quick strike and .....goal. That is what we should be doing away, catching teams on the break. Hopefully Brighton. Also,hope we don't score too many cause the whole team raced over to celebrate, surely if most of them can't last 90 minutes then expending extra energy could cost us a late goal......again
