There was an x account making up random stories at Arblaster rubbished. Doesn’t necessarily mean his recovery hasn’t been pushed back through.

It was estimated to be back in Sept, so could still be a few weeks away. I’m a little surprised there’s been no ‘behind the scenes’ footage of him in training though so wouldn’t be surprised if he’s had a setback.

Seem to remember that account said he won't be back until January and he replied directly and said something like news to me.

The “news to me” but was about the setback. I still don’t see him being anywhere near competitive ready this year. That’s a bad injury to recover from, if you ever can.

If as expected, Hamer is sold, and if (it's a big if, without wanting to put undue pressure on the lad) we can get Blaster back to proper fitness, I wonder if we're about to see United play him further forward, competing with O'Hare for the number 10 slot? Not that weird LW role of Hamer's, I think we might buy a LW for that, but CAM. Thinking about it, it requires him to cover less ground, and to take on less tackles, and as arguably the second most intelligent footballer at the club after Hamer, it gives him the best chance to try and influence a game?

Then, we recruit to CM/CDM accordingly. It looks like being Phillips, which I wish it wasn't, but I wonder if that's the logic?

Just watched the extended highlights from yesterday and wanted to say that the pass from Blaster to Donovan to set up the 3rd goal was a thing of beauty and is not getting the praise it deserves. If we get the lad back to his best he is going to be some player for us. UTB

That goal sums up how we should be playing once we go a goal up.

Shutting up shop, defensively I don't think we will be good enough for (we were 2 seasons a go).

Even without any more signings, One/Chong/Donovan give us outlets, either side and with O'Hare in the middle and Bamford, we can quickly get from front to back.

If we can get a pacy replacement for Hamer I expect to see more of that type of goal.
