In the context of the role, he's still young. In the real world, 39 is certainly not young.

Can't copy and paste....soz

In the real world, 39 is certainly not young.
McCabe personally called McCall when he fired Wilson and offered him the job. If we can afford the compensation then he'll be the new manager. Right or wrong it will once again be McCabe's decision and his alone. We will never know if there were better candidates because what McCabe wants he gets....
people age differently.
some 40 year olds are rock stars, some 40 year olds are sat around in their slippers watching heartbeat.
mccall strikes me as a very young 48. mentally and (ooh err mrs) physically.
I heard the same. It was a third hand rumour so I wasn't sure how reliable, but I was told just after our play off exit that McCall had been offered the job so I stuck a bet on. Fingers crossed.
In other news, in the real world, 39 is not young and 49 definitely isn't.
how is 39 not young? its not old, so it must be young? you either say people are young or old.
who says oh hes a bit middle?![]()
Surely this is just a case of needing permission to interview him, not straight out offer him the job.
At least that's what I hope it is.
It's old, now calm down before you do yourself a mischief.![]()

Of course it will be McCabe's decision. When I own a car, I decide who drives it. Don't you?
You not married then?![]()
I think, in typical Blades' fashion, we underestimate our own club. Crowds of close to 20,000 are almost unheard of in Division 3 and we've shown we can fill the place every week in the Prem. A move from either Motherwell or MK to us, is undoubtedly a significant number of steps forward.
I'm still hoping for Robinson myself, but McCall would certainly be preferable to the alternative bunch of non-achievers that purport to be candidates.
A fine figure of a man...

We need to get our skates on if we want Law. Rangers and Brum are very keen by all accounts.
