What I don't care about is the odd couple of million pounds here and there and certainly detest nit-picking detracting from serious points that posters make.

Of course I care about the club enough to spend so much time on here.

I just don't get this personal animosity, I quote again below the post from which you managed to say "clap,clap,clap,clap" and "another WWF fantasy", all about a post which was about promotion and relegation and excessive players wages taking all the owners and fans' cash.

In amongst those 92 football clubs there are only 4 Champions, and 7 other clubs promoted each year. There are 12 clubs relegated.

That means 81 club chairmen don't achieve promotion out of 92 and 12 have to suffer the financial effects of relegation.

As for KM. £90m spent with only one year in the Premier League, three freeholds and ownership of only half a slimmed down football club anchored in League 1 to show for it.

As for the prince, going on for £20m spent by now with just the half shareholding of that modest League 1 football club to show for it - and oh, also 20000 hostile supporters.

The alarming fact in this "sport"/ business is that most of the brass goes into the players' pockets.

That is a "middle of the road" general point backed up by a few figures which may turn out to be a couple of million pounds wrong but there you go "clap,clap,clap,clap" "WWF fantasy" on a detail which completely distracts from the very good points made.

I hate red herrings diverting attention from main points being made. Some posters find their comfort zone in numbers but miss the good points being made. I detest posters who play the poster not the post. £15m, 8m, 12m what the heck, nobody knows. As I was saying, most of it goes into players' pockets whatever the amount.

Enjoy your numbers Sean. "Ignore" is best for both of us. Shame though but life's too short for animosity, between Blades especially.

Whether it's 8 or 16, the fans certainly haven't had any benefit.

Just a bunch of tossers in white with (barely detectable) red stripes. I imagine the owners are rather more pissed off with them than us.

Just imagine what a proper League One football club could do with £8-16m from the owners, 20k gates, money from two cup semi finals and player sales such as Maguire and Murphy.
