In a world where Tyrone Mings doesn't get a red for the clearest elbow you are ever likely to see, even after a VAR review, I was expecting the appeal panel to give Dickie a lifetime achievement golden boot for hurt feelings and Bristol a walkover in the next 2 games for their PTSD .

From what I remember, they had something like a combined 9 players from Burnley and Leeds, the exceptions being Murphy and Sargent.

They might have had Bellingham in it but I can't remember.

Does seem strange - Struber was highly-rated before coming to BC.

Though I have no problem with anyone's age if they are still able to do a job.

Totally agree. I asked my BCFC mate the other day who said Struber has been outspoken and they sack anyone that's outspoken.

Weird club, owners are absolutely loaded locals, but run the club fairly poorly in every sense.

It's because of his track record. Age doesn't seem to weary him and he still has credibility with the players he manages.

Clubs with problems will turn to someone who has shown they know what they're doing. Especially if it's a short term fix.

It's a good question.

Living in Bristol and having lots of mates who support Bristol City, I think the fans have been restless for sometime.
Lots of negativity towards the board and chairman has been spilling over in recent weeks. The natural thing to do is to sack
the manager and start again to alleviate the pressure on the team.
