Appalling performance

It’s going to be midtable stuff again this season. Until there’s some proper investment we have to be fairly content with this.

If people didn’t get so excited after winning a few earlier this would be fine. You get called a pessimist if you tell people we are a mid table team.

All teams have off days .even man city who I believe from reports have spent a tad more on players than we have had a poor midweek performance. Said it before , in a 46 game season there will be 15 really good performances 15 middling ones 15 poor ones and 1 outstanding game. Only in promotion seasons you get good results in the poor performances and relegation years bad results in the good performances so fine are the margins

Not the best game in the second half but thats irrelevant now we got 3 points after a battling performance well done lads

Totally disrespectful thread title.

Does anyone realise that Birmingham’s biggest defeat of the season is only 0-1 away at Middlesboro.
In that match they dominated Boro and deserved to win.
Brum fans still believe they are good enough to make the play-offs.

The post match comments remind me of the reaction from the Villa fans after we outclassed them.

The other week Villa fans were saying their defeat to us was one of their worse performances in years.
Many said how embarrassing it was to be played off the park by Sheff United, very few thought that maybe it was SU who were good on the day, few gave us any credit.

Last night we dominated midfield, had loads of corners and more attacks but struggled to break through their defense.

Instead of us being poor has anyone thought that maybe Birmingham have one of the best defences in this league? They have the 2nd best defence (behind Boro) in this league.
Has anyone thought that Birmingham have been very strong in every match they’ve played but struggle to put away their chances. They’ve only lost 2 matches all season todate.

Basically I’m saying it’s not just about our performance, you also have to consider the opposition performance.
Birmingham made it really tough and deserve credit and respect.

Utter nonsense! Birmingham are crap and should just roll over for us. After all, they only won 2-1 at top-of-the-table Leeds today. And that fat, lazy Che Adams should have got more than his two goals.

Seriously, there are no crap teams in the Championship. Not Preston, or Millwall (our next opponents - away) who are third-bottom in the table tonight.
