I am a new user to S24SU and tablet devices. Is there an App or way of putting a short cut on an iPad desktop or can the forum only be reached through a search engine?

I am a new user to S24SU and tablet devices. Is there an App or way of putting a short cut on an iPad desktop or can the forum only be reached through a search engine?

Go to the forum home page (or whatever page you wish to bookmark) and on the ipad there will be an icon next to the search bar on the left that has an arrow sticking out of it.

Click that and you can then either bookmark the page, or 'add to home screen' which will then create an icon on the ipad desktop for you

As Highbury said, bookmark it in Safari. I have it in the shortcut bar you can see at the top here.

Thanks Borg and Highbury done it. Knew about book mark but not about the Add to Home! Very useful
