We'll be meeting with the club later this week...

So is there anything anyone would like raising in line with the aims of this section?

Here's the most minor and petty one imaginable. Paint, and how to use it. :)

Do the club agree that the South Stand exterior paint job and lettering looks awful, cheap, and like the creation of a ten year old? It's not worthy of an historic building.

Well you did ask… :p

Actually, very good point. And - bricks in the wall. They look absolutely garbage. Can they be tidied up in any way? Could they do some sort of online or other cost effective version , and get rid of them? I've got 3 and it's a shame, but they make the ground look tacky, along with the red and white striped stand.

if we arent going to spend money on players, can we replace all the woeful looking pinky faded red seats in the JSS/Kop corner?

Agree in a way ,but don't agree with the online option. My Dads is a place I visit to remember him as do my kids ,sitting in front of a PC would not be the same ,however they do look a disgrace ,my 4 were moved when they altered the shop and now they just look like a neglected afterthought.

Can I ask why Yellowman's seat was put in for only one game?

Can it not be a permanent fixture on the front row of the Kop?

Yes please Foxy. Linz knows how i have been going on about Student tickets.
As I understand it, students from the Sheffield Uni s get discounted tickets for possibly five games a season. I understand all the thoughts about generating new business and interest but imagine the scenario where an ex season ticket holder who has gone to another city to become a student and comes back a few times and goes in to buy a ticket and the students from Sheffield in front of him pay £11 ish and he has to pay the full student price for his loyalty that is not considered despite having a customer number.
So for the 5 or so games that are discounted extra to the normal student price for the Sheffield students can we have the same for those long term registered Blades Student fans who are studying in other places?

Can you ask them to look at the time that it takes to get out of the Family Stand at the end of the match. The positioning of a seat to one side of the exits prevents people from passing down either side, meaning that they either have to clamber over seats (dangerous and damages the seats) or they have to wait far too long to get out. The ground is always empty by the time I get out (my seat is DD116 if that helps) but, more importantly, what would happen in the event of an emergency evacuation?

I've raised it before and they said that they would so something about it but nothing has happened.

It was raised at a previous meeting and the response was that evacuation times and routes have been tested by the safety advisory group and were found to have passed. For that reason, the club felt that no action was needed

Ok, thanks - I hope that I never have cause to prove them wrong (!) and still think that it's a small minded response given that we're only talking about perhaps 12 seats in a stand that is never full. It would be an easy way of showing that they cared about their customers / customer feedback.....

No I thought the online option was rubbish too:-). I was just trying to think of some cheap longer lasting option. Maybe something engraved in metal?

I'm a student ST holder, but wanted to check out the top half of Jessica Ennis, so sat up there the other day. At HT, there was only one food stall open, and a humongous queue. How on Earth can they sell out of stuff there, when the amount of tickets to both Unions was pre-sold, and sold out at Uni of a good week or two before the match? Incredible. And I missed my pie and bovril.
As an aside, the toilet queues were minimal, far better than the SS ones, and that's despite us students being 'weak bladdered'.

Can they make an effort to clean the seats from time to time? There's a young lad a few seats in front of me in the Kop who's seat looks like its covered in bird shit, it's been like it for ages. It's obviously completely dried cause although I don't make a habit of looking at his arse, I don't think he's ended up with it transferring onto his clothes.

I would like to compliment JG on the work done in organising the 'evening with' events. If we are allowed to offer positives?

Elsewhere, I am still of the view that tickets should be a flat price as calling MK Dons at home a category A game in the third division is somewhat insulting.

I have nothing against concession promotions and always try and bring a friend for a fiver/tenner but think these should be promoted beyond the ST holders (when linked to a ST as I know they are not always) as a non ST holder is more likely to approach their mate whom they know can help them grab a bargain than a ST feeling motivated to ask all their friends (I've struggled to shift free tickets such is the apathy). Maybe a mention on radio Sheffield or an announcement in the Star. Make it news rather than an advert so it would be free. Maybe some sort of incentive towards those who engage the promotion would help participation from ST holders? Loyalty points, a free cup ticket, a discount on next year's renewal? Any might help stem the moaning from ST holders when asked to help encourage more prople to attend our half full ground.

And can I win the super draw soon please it must be nearly my go.

On the positive feedback front, the quality of the sausage rolls has improved again, after a poor season last year
