My dad always took us on the kop or the south stand when I was a kid. When I was old enough to go on my own, I went into the john street corner near the away end a couple of times but soon changed my mind after dodging snooker balls, coins ect thrown by various away supporters. Leeds was the worst. I've been in the bramall lane upper tier a few times but now it's always the kop for me.

Been in the John St Stand, Upper Bramall Lane, The standing Kop, the seated Kop, South Stand and once stood under the clock on the old pavillion cos we were rammed!

Done them all now. The view from the Westfield Corner is definitely the best in the ground, it looks fantastic from up there.

Started off on the Bramall Lane/John Street Corner as a kid with my old man in the early 70s
Saw one or two games in the BL upper.
Progressed to the Kop when allowed to go on my own with mates in the later 70s
Moved to the South stand late 90s with with a few sorties into the Family stand.
Been a few times in the BL upper since the rebuild, but still mostly on the SS nowadays.
Kinell I'm bored.
How long to kick off?!

Never been in in the exec boxes / exterior seats on the John St upper.

John St looks far better when full imo. When they are fully occupied the 200-odd exterior seats look like a small upper tier. They are hardly noticeable when empty.

Never seen a match from the BL Lower but went on there on a cub trip in 1974. Met Tom McAllister on there when he was recovering from his broken leg, wandering around the stand with a walking stick!

Never done the Pukka Pie corner or the large restaurant on John St.

Been on all 4 sides at the Lane (for both football AND cricket).

Also done it at The Sty, City Ground, Elland Road, Gigg Lane, Old Trafford, Maine Road, Victoria Ground, Meadow Lane, Filbert Street, Selhurst Park, Valley Parade and St Andrews.
It's amazing all the times the "away section" has been moved at various grounds yet stayed static at the Lane. Although some of the above weren't strictly away ends when I went on (i.e. Semi finals at OT, mistakenly on the Kippax at MR, the big side at Brum on the "qualifying for Europe" match for instance).

I wouldn't bother mate, worst view of the lot. Probably worse than behind the pillars on the Kop.

Out of the John Street, BL corner, BL lower, Kop, and South Stand, the BL corner is probably the best view.

Only downside of the game I spent in the BL corner was that the game was v Wigan last season, so I had a great view of the shite we produced under Adkins.

Cheers mate, heard that from a few people. I'll probably go at some point just for the sake of completeness.
Not sure when that'll be though as the away followings should be a bit bigger this year than we've had for a while!

Me. Been on the South Stand and Kop, was in with the Wigan fans on Bramall Lane in 2007, but never been on John Street.

Great view from South Stand roof.

Also, the views from the Press Box/Match commentary area is grand, though nowadays, i'll be back in the Bramall Lane Upper.

I think this is the best view in the ground (on the roof) its like watching a computer game from almost bird eye view, I watched 45 mins from up there when I was either a mascot or a guest of someones and loved it.

Been in platinum and exec boxes and pretty much everywhere else just missing the away end upper tier and the corner next to it
