I'm worried that people don't actually watch what he does on the pitch.
Yes it'd be nice if we had better, but as I've said elsewhere, make him chances and he can score, he's also better at bringing others into the game than many would suggest.
In around 140 minutes of football pre-season your worried about him having, he's scored 2 goals.
Miller was a good example of this. I'm not a massive fan of porter, but he worked well with miller. He certainly looked a better partner than Blackman did.I'm worried that people don't actually watch what he does on the pitch.

The Porter hatred baffles me. We have far shitter players than Porter.
Yeah but not many to be fair. Only Cresswell and Ironside immediately spring to mind. And one of those is 90 and the other 12. Who else is far shitter than Porter? And don't say Doyle.
Last season you cant put Hill in this. He was in the top 3 or 4 for player of the season. Depressing I know.Doyle, Flynn, Hill, Ironside, Doyle
can't get any worse
Fazak you're straying dangerously close to a no-criticism idea there. This forum is the best I've come across for United debate purely because there's not the level of over-the-top criticism you see elsewhere. We can't, however, go around thinking that everything is rosy. We're in the third tier because a succession of playing and coaching staff have failed and we have to accept that.
If criticism is backed up with evidence then it's fine. Saying "he's shit" isn't enough. Porter has got a lot of stick on this thread and most of it isn't evidenced.
Evidence why i am worried about him being number 1 choice up front, 8 goals 55 appearances

2 goals against these mighty scottish sides doesn't mean a great deal to me.
