11.15 on. Saturday Morning and I’m laid on the settee perusing this fine website and thinking that I should be getting ready to go to the match and get to town and go and meet my mates for a few beers before the match.

Instead the young un isn’t with me until tomorrow, I’ve managed to evade a trip to IKEA with our lass because her best mates wants to go with her as well, and I’m well and truly at a loose end until I meet at 4 to go out for a few drinks.

Even after all these years I still can’t get used to having a football free Saturday in the middle of summer, how is everyone else finding it?

More to life than United.
Been well busy at work for the last few weeks, played five a side last night followed by the pub. Stuff to do today, cricket and more beer. Then there's music and of course when all else fails, masturbation.

It is shaping up to be a very long off season though.

Get yersen off that settee Brownie lad and do summat worthwhile or out of the ordinary for a few hours.

The weather is awesome in Staffordshire today so me and Mrs BB are off to Cannock Chase to walk for miles with a pub lunch at the end.

Try watching some rl egg chasing !! Difficult to avoid in dull , fills a void . Failing that some cricket or even women’s World Cup.

The time will soon pass . Exciting times ahead !

I find match less Saturdays stress free and enjoyable, shortly I will be going for a walk starting at South Anston cricket club, through Anston Stones Wood, along Lindrick Dale, over the railway line, along the canal, Lindrick Golf Club, and return.

I would be bored....if I wasn’t sat outside a pub on the North Yorkshire moors right now, with a pint in one hand and having just downed a full English brekky :p

I enjoyed the break, for about a week. It’s rubbish now.

Heeley festival today. I will take a stroll up at some point, it's on till 8. I generally run into a few old school mates up there, and we usually end up in the pub.

Grandson interfering with cricket where Afghans are on top. Playing chess with him and losing easily.

The sun is up, the sky is blue, it's beautiful and so are you, dear Brownie, you should go out to played eheh eh ehyah

Heeley festival today

There was a fight there last year, right in front of the stage at about 1 o'clock in the afternoon. Some guy got his shirt torn off and lip bust, then spent the entire afternoon strolling around like he was 10 men.

TBH, it's pretty pathetic when people do it at football, but if you find yourself swaggering around Heeley City Farm, surrounded by kids, drunkenly boasting about a fight you just had scaring women and children away, you probably need to have a long hard look at your life.

Enjoy this time while you can- we’re up and have the bragging rights. Meet up with old mates who are Blades and reminisce, look forward and smile. Meet up with old mates who aren’t Blades and gloat, be smug and smile wider.

Where are you in Staffordshire Blackheath?

Personally I’m willing to wait until new signings come in before I start getting excited for the new season but I also love other sports so I’m easily occupied a couple of hours a day playing darts ( very badly ) also passes the time

Exciting and thrilling time sat in a hotel conference room for 7hrs on a CPC course. Mind numbing doesn't even scratch the surface.

I think I might get the scooter out and go for a nice ride out and have a cheeky pint.

Get used to it as they'll be a few this season!

Dunt help nights getting shorter. I swear Mrs Jelly said in 6 months it’ll nearly be Christmas

Full day ahead for me personally: Going baby shopping with my lady, then later on going to a festival followed by a meal at a steakhouse that just opened up.

Been to the zoo today with the wife and kids. Didn’t even think about football till now

Yep remember Brighton’s withdean stadium with the asaba hat trick sticks in my mind that day and at Elm Park pissing down with no cover!
Anyone go Greenock Morton for the friendly ?

Locals weren’t the most friendly but we were drinking some shit that looked like cola
