I'm sure our players will be as happy as we are after such a tremendous achievement, but, will a few be disappointed at the presentation ceremony.? How many games does a player have to play before he is entitled to receive a medal. Is there a limit on the number of medals United may present, and how about the backroom staff, do they get anything?

found this on the web, it is for the EPL but should probably apply to the rest of the EFL, hope it helps...

"By the book, a player has to make 5 league appearances in order to be eligible for an EPL medal.
However, exceptions are always made on a discretionary basis.
A club can request exemption and order a medal if it wants any additional medals for some squad members. In such a case, an exemption request is raised by the club that needs to be approved by the English FA and the club has to pay the necessary charges for 'buying' these extra medals."

I seem to remember Aaron Ramsdale being concerned that he would get a winners medal when he transferred to Bournemouth

There are also the following who have made league appearances and are at other clubs now:

Che Adams - 1 game
John Brayford (on loan - still our player) - 3 games
Reece Brown - 2 games
Joe Riley - 2 games
Ben Whiteman (on loan - still our player) - 2 games

I think we should ask for a medal for Adams if Birmingham get relegated.

Suspect that only league appearances will count per the official rules - we could see McNulty introduced at some point on Sunday if so

I think you're right that only league appearances will count. The list obviously includes sub appearances.
Interesting to see that Billy has played in every single game. Presuming he plays on Sunday, who was the last United player to play in every game? Did Billy play every game last season?

No, Sharp played 44 last season.

Unless I'm missing someone obvious, the last ever present player was Jags in 2006-7. That was the third year in a row he'd played every league game.

Are loyalty points included to get a medal?? Asking for a mate...
