This season has been so good. Like a really good book , film or TV series, I am now feeling like I don't want it to end. It's finishing too quickly and I want this feeling of pleasure to go on and on. Winning the title by someone else losing at Oldham has deprived me of the grandstand finish at home I craved. Like someone leaked the end of the story, series etc and I'd rather not of known until I saw it myself. Will the sequel be as good?
At least I know we don't have to make the P offs. Also got the Century to go for. Anyone else feeling like they wanted the season to keep going while we're on a roll?

3 more afternoons of fun to go but I will miss this season when it's over

You really have to enjoy these times and hold on to some great memories and feelings

We break our play off duck next year ;)

100 points mate.

It's a massive achievement. The biggest points haul in most Blades lifetime or ever(?). A fitting tribute for a fabulous season.

3 more wins.

Not looking forward to the end of the season but, the Rumour Mill will be heavily visited. I am really looking forward to CWAK crafting and fashioning the new Championship side.

3 months is a long time but it will be the build up to a fantastic season!

In CWAK WE TRUST!

No, i am going to the party of all parties on Monday!

I remember feeling gutted when we played our last home game (coincidentally against Bradford) in the triple assault season, as i just didn't want it to end, it was a magical season epitomised by 20 Michael Brown wonder goals.

I feel differently about this season, it has been fantastic but unlike Triple Assault we can look forward to next season and the future. We have a committed manager who with patience and board support will take us places.

I am away for work from next Saturday and miss the last 2 games, but i am looking forward to the summer transfer dealings with interest before Chris Wilder truly shows the supposed big boys of the Championship that United are back!

Don't look back, onwards and upwards.

While I'd like to see us get 'the big ton', it's not that rare. In our first season down here (2011-12) Charlton finished top with 101 points and in 2013-14, Wolves got 103 points.

I'm usually quite relieved when the season finishes but this year I think it's gonna be a severe case of cold turkey.

Yes me too, I feel a mixture of withdrawal and relief . The 3 months will be interesting to , how united play it go with the basic squad we've got now with one or two additions or go for a more radical restructuring.
I have a feeling Wilder is going for the latter, he doesn't do play safe , if we are going to challenge. I think we will need quite a few changes.
Wilder will sort it. UTB FTP

3 games left yet mate and they are all going to be party's

It feels like yesterday that we won at Bury to go top for the first time.We not only stayed there but have won 12 games this year. That's 16 wins since Walsall at home out of 23 with 3 to go.Remarkable,

I'm going to sit down and watch the rollercoaster ride of the laying of the desso :)

As an aside, how long do we reckon it'll be before the season DVD will be out ;)

I'll be looking forward now to when the 2017/18 fixtures come out now.
There could be plenty of Yorkshire Derbies in there

Looking forward to the last 3 games & the party atmosphere. 100 points gives us a target to chase down, we then get to see billy lift the trophy.

Looking forward then to seeing the others sweat it out in the playoffs. Hopefully having a good laugh at the pigs whether they pip Fulham to 6th or not.

Fixture lists released on 21st June. Start to plan some away days.

Transfer window opens 1st July. Be interesting to see what wilder does.

Preseason friendlies Jul-Aug

Season starts 5th August and this run continues... momentum and all that...

Party tommorow, fancy dress party next week and then the big celebration party week after! Far from over yet:D

generally hate odd year summers, no world cup, no euros- just anticipation of where the first friendly game will be, new signing etc etc.. ...but really, too early to think of that, 3 games to just enjoy now!

Not at all. We've done what we set out to do, can only say I'm relieved, have never wanted a season to go so quickly as this one. Still can't believe we've actually been promoted Champions. Hopefully the realisation will set in on Monday.

I believe the most points we have ever got in a season is 96 in 81-82 when we won div 4

It's not over, it's just the beginning!!!!!!!!! !

It's been a cracking season bar the first 4 games. I've enjoyed it as much as the warmock promotion. We have played some brilliant football too.

I will miss being the big fish, so in that sense I'm sad it's over. Next season I won't be going to games expecting us to win most of them!

It's certainly interesting thinking about who our targets will be over the summer, can't wait!

And still we haven't signed anyone...missed out again...the return of Max (does he actually follow football or just transfers?)...

Can't wait.
