It was so good to see him back on saturday. we looked so assured with him on. The game changed when he went off.

I disagree entirely.

Thought we looked as shaky with him on as with him off.

And according to the normal news sources that can be accessed by everyone, Morgs is having a scan today but Speed doesn't think the injury is awful. He's not ruled him out of the Leeds match, but I think that's more wishful thinking than anything else.

Sounded like a back twinge, something I know quite a lot about. He has a good chance of being fit for Saturday.

As for better with or better without, I think like most good centre halves he is getting better in the air and worse on the ground as he gets older. With the high ball forward to Nugent he looked imperious, but with Nugent running at him he looked short of half a yard, although that may have been the injury...

This is a serious question, should it be centre halfs or centre halves? My spell checker doesn't like the first but the second just does not look right.

Wow thats twice you've disagreed with me about saturdays game. Is it possible that me and thee see the games differently and are willing to accept that possibility without abuse, unlike some others? (call me a blind twat if you like);)

It should be centre halves. The word ends in F so it is replaced by a V and ES is added to it. Same as words like KNIFE and WIFE but they have FE replaced by VES.

I've just taught my Year 6's that last week!

But roofs is OK for some reason. I vote esperanto.

Cheers Wombwell, English is not my strongest point, but I do try. Even I get mad at the standard of English on the internet. Pet hates are the way most spell definitely and the use of 'must of' in place of must have.

Don't forget "loose" and "looser" when the retards involved mean "lose" and "loser". That one riles me.

Let us not forget the cardinal sin of people using the incorrect 'their', 'there' and 'they're' and also 'your' and 'you're'. This country is becoming crowded, bring out the hanging squads for all who cannot determine which to use.

Back on topic, if Morgan is a doubt then don't risk him. If Nosworthy can learn to get rid of the ball then I think we'd be ok.

On Saturday it looked to me that Nozzer had been specifically told not to do anything fancy (turning strikers on the edge of our box and the such like) and just get rid. However this seemed to cause us more damage than good as most of the time he was in such a rush the ball it was just going anywhere and coming pretty much straight back to us. I accept there is a time and place for the silky skills but I don't think we should b telling him to give up on them altogether.

And when do they learn how to use an apostrophe?

Pffftt!! Whoop's! ;)

Another one has crept in over recent years... "Been" in place of "being". As in "You're been a bit pernickety, j j."
