Sod the free agents, why don't we try the players coming through the academy and development squad?

Next game I'd go with McFadzean on the left side of midfield, Ironside up front and Whitehouse in central midfield. I'd have Harriot, Kennedy and Jahmal Smith on the bench too. They can't do any worse than the more experienced first team.

Our Danny needs to have more balls when it comes to putting the young lads in. How many of them have let us down in their appearances so far?

True, but having a player like diop in the squad could surely be useful for teaching our youngsters a thing or two. He was a class player in his heyday.

Anyone thought about Nile Ranger (only joking). I'd like to see the youngsters given more of a role, didn't do us any harm against county in the mighty JPT.

Said in January that failing to Bring a striker would come back to haunt us and its look so at the moment. McCabe was so naive, especially with the Jonny Russell bid (how we could do with someone like him now) when everyone knew they wanted £2m. We offered a pityfull £400k.

It also annoys me how we manage to miss these potential gems like Paddy Madden, what a player he is atm... I rated that Will Grigg last season when he scored against us in the 3-2 win and said we should go for him and looking now... top scorer for them!

Delroy Facey - Seemed to do decent at County
Darius Vassell - Experienced
Mido - Experienced

I think the last guy we had called Darius would get us promoted from this division if we had him now
