We had another triallist called Carrillo - no idea I'm afraid. He came off after 54 minutes so I bet we never see him again.

Sod that, get him in as a full-time replacement. Always rated him - just always seemed a solid right-back that was eager to overlap. He, along with Speroni when they were both at Palace, were two players I'd always hoped would play for us at some point...

Currently we have Kitson who is playing just in front of the back four, Forte who couldn't score on a night out with Ched, Murphy who is more injury prone than Ebrell, Porter who is...... well Porter!
There is also Doyle who is the only man that can hit the Kop roof from 20 yards!

trouble with all the free agents is theyre all either useless or old/unfit/prima donna "superstars" who will disrupt the team. otherwise they wouldnt be free agents at this time of the year.

when we lost williamson and quinn was the time to sign midfielders. when we sold blackman (and lost miller, and it became apparent porter and cresswell werent likely to figure) was the time to bring in a striker. unfortunately we did neither. cept the odd old duffer and fairly hopeless loan signings. signing anybody this late would be admitting we dont know what the feck were doing.

Next game I'd go with McFadzean on the left side of midfield, Ironside up front and Whitehouse in central midfield. I'd have Harriot, Kennedy and Jahmal Smith on the bench too. They can't do any worse than the more experienced first team.

Our Danny needs to have more balls when it comes to putting the young lads in. How many of them have let us down in their appearances so far?
