I was watching a documentary about the Flying Scotsman and towards the end of the programme, it showed the train going through Retford. I spotted a young chap wearing the so-called diamond shirt from the Dave Bassett era. I took this from the film with my phone and also took a still. Not dreadfully clear but it would be very interesting to know if anybody on here owns up to being, or knowing, the young Blade. :)

Thought you were talking about the boozer in Kings Cross!!!

Anyone know the Blade from the C4 [?] programme 'Secret Life of a holiday resort'? It was on last week. He was wearing last season's home shirt.

Surely not! Blades trainspotting and watching Flying Scotsman stuff...........blimey!

That should read the new trendy, enlarged, food led and family friendly and renamed boozer called the ' Scotmans Pack'.

The afore mentioned pub classic The Flying Scotsman biting the dust around 12 months ago. Classic boozers near Kings Cross and St Pancras are drying up. If you have some Irish in you get to The Cock Tavern before it goes...
