Possibility apparently, released by MKD. Strong rumors from the roundabouts.
 

33 years old and 5ft 11", think we could do with lads a bit younger and taller, just my opinion.

On the Barnsley connection, heard that Lewin Nyatanga is surplus and available for transfer and Wilder is interested but only on loan until January but Barnsley looking for permanent. Won't be on massive money, athletic and Wilder could get the best out of him after arguably not fulfilling early potential.

Could be right about all three yet. The links to Taylor are certainly strong.


Kay and Nyatanga would both be the 3rd centre half, I'd much prefer Nyatanga. Kay's getting on a bit and I don't want too many old players, but he does have good recent experience of success in L1 and is a leader.

Nyatanga is a good age, athletic and left footed so fits the bill. One to add to the list of decent options at centre half.
 
Some 33 year old, not good enough any more for MK Plastics, out of contract, demanding something around the minimum wage. Fantastic.

Thos may be thevtype of player we end up with if those young rapscallions dont want to sign for realistic wages with us.
 
I’d be quite happy with Nyatanga but would like us to make permanent signings in the CB position.


Wouldn’t be impressed with Kay. MK have released him deciding he’s not good enough for their promotion push. Why would he be good enough for ours?
 

Wilder wants strong, athletic CB's who can get up and down the pitch and who will put their head in where it hurts - that's what he has publicly stated. On which of these points would Anthony Kay get anywhere close? NONE.

Adkins said similar but he signed Hammond.
