We'll be having a look at 6'2" Rodney McDonald from Stoke in tonights reserve game at West Brom.

Sounds like he'll be playing centre back, although some seem to have him down as a striker.

He's recently had trials with Blackpool and Watford.

A youthful United second string travel to The Hawthorns to face West Brom in their penultimate totesport.com league fixture of the season on Monday night, kick-off 7pm.

Estonian Mihkel Aksalu will start in goal, with trialist Rodney MacDonald from Stoke City taking his place at the heart of the defence.

The Blades will be looking to build on their entertaining draw against Burton Albion last time out, before concluding their campaign against Sheffield Wednesday at Bramall Lane on Wednesday 28 April, kick-off 2pm.

Blades: Aksalu, Brown, Roe, Williams, MacDonald, Lowton, Gregory, James, Slew, Foster, Maguire.
Subs: Darlow, Billard, Murray, Ahmadi, Pennycooke-Morgan.

When is Paddy's ban over? I thought he would get a run out in the reserves this week.

Or are we saving him for Saturday?

Ends on the 22nd, so he can't play tonight.

Whilst agreeing that Ipswich is indeed "insignificant", we sort of owe it to other teams, if not ourselves, to try and oust Swansea from a play-off spot.

fair point, although I don't think we would not be trying to beat Swansea or Ipswich if we would try out some of our unproven players.

Not disagreeing with you in any way. Would love to see some of the younger end given a go. We might just find some of them are up to the job.

However, we whinged like buggery at teams in the Prem. not fielding their strongest team that we really don't want to be doing it ourselves in a game that could decide who gets into the play-offs.
