The Hibees. Chairman obseesed by building things and taking "the longer term view". Top scorer sold on deadline day and replaced by a loanee. Manager reviled by the majority of fans failing to arrest clueless performances week in week out, picking his favourite do-a-jobs and falling out with the talented players.

I've never experienced anything like it.

The SPL is just poor....simple as that. Celtic and Rangers are Championship standard sides and the rest are a mixture of League One and Two standard. Everything below the SPL is League Two / Non-League standard. Thats how I see it anyway and ive watched a fair bit of Scottish football.

Anthony Stokes is probably a slightly better player than he showed when he was with us but I doubt any English side could get much more out of him. He was at Arsenal, Sunderland and Palace, who would all probably agree with me. Good luck to the lad but there is a reason he can do it in Scotland and not here.

You are his cousin and I claim my ten pounds. Either that or there's some particularly powerful crack in the water in Bexley ... Stokes simply can't cut it in a proper league. the SPL, like the Irish leagues, remains dreadful in the main.
