Goal music is so cheesy and naff.

Agree……you find in the early days it can be appropriate, funny or fashionable.

The Tom Hark song seemed really good when it first started. However the problem is that sooner or later the fashionable ones, go out of fashion becoming cheesy and naff.

I’m currently writing a song that might be appropriate.
It’s called “Get in the fucking onion bag, you twats!”.
It should pretty much write itself from here….. I’m just listening to ‘Now That’s What I Call Music’ to decide which tune to borrow.
Leave it with me for now but if anyone has any suggestions (tunes or lyrics) fling ‘em over.

After every goal, everyone sings " going up, going up, going up.....going up, going up" catchy?

Would rather goal music than that 'no mercy' shite we play. Was just cringy when we were getting spanked 4-0 most weeks.

Whilst I've an utter dislike of all choreographed stuff at football including goal music I realise that alot of kids love it. I suppose I can stomach countdown to kick off as it keeps young uns entertained as does the night match light show etc.
orchastarted singing and goal music is just not us .

Music after we score a goal!
Give me strength!
It is time I just died I think than having to read bollocks like this.

Jeez, sorry buddy. Just trying to improve the matchday experience.

I think we should have a brass band come out after each goal.

Depends on what music is played tbh

Yes that's a factor..

The 50 somethings would love it if the chorus from "happy hour" played after every goal. But these days were more likely to get Kanye West, or some teenager with too many feelings whining away.

Fan noise for the goal. But in the away end amplify the sound to make it a lot noisier and intimidating.
I was at a Waikato Chiefs super 14s rugby match in New Zealand where they played amplified crowd noise through the speakers after the home tries. At first I was confused where the noise was coming from, then I was embarrassed when I realised. Please god, let that never be us.

Yet we we orchestrate the GCB song twice every game and that is so cringeworthy, nearly as bad as that No mercy shite before kick off. Hope the new owners sack GS.
