I understood why we were attempting not just to put the ball on Vestergaard's head, but the fact that we did it twice in quick succession, the first of which set them off on a counter and the 2nd of which was also poor didn't make sense!

That entirely sums up the mental state of the squad at the moment. Fuck knows how we snap out of it.

Fleck has not been himself since the first lockdown in March. He was in fantastic form up until January/February but certainly since lockdown, has been nowhere near.

He's had dips in form before but not 9 months!

There is aspects of Jack Grealish’s game that I hate but those claiming that Fleck is a better player than Grealish know nothing about football.

Grealish likes to run at defenders, Fleck likes to pass through defenders...big difference. Fleck will only be effective in a footballing team, we actually had the confidence to play like that for the past three seasons, hence why he stood out, we are now playing desperate long ball tactics from the start of every game. No good for Fleck, no good for the premier league.
