Young 17-year-old development player who according to a few looked a class act at Sheffield FC the other day. Scored a worldie and absolutely ran the show...

Pacey with a good left foot, Capello is a direct winger who like to take on his marker and get to the byline.

He has also been recognised as one of the most promising youngsters in the country: https://www.sufc.co.uk/academy/news/2019/february/academy-youngster-recognised/

The on and off the pitch achievements of eleven young footballers has been recognised by League Football Education (LFE), including United's Angelo Capello.
'The 11' acknowledges the football and academic progress of Under-18 players on apprenticeships at current or former English Football League (EFL) clubs - and is also designed to assess other factors, including involvement in community or charity-based initiatives.

Everton forward Lookman and AFC Bournemouth midfielder Cook also went on to become Apprentice of the Year winners, as did Ryan Sessegnon (Fulham) and Watford's Ben Wilmot (formerly Stevenage), who were both featured prior to picking up the 2018 awards in the Sky Bet Championship and Sky Bet League Two, respectively.
Others to previously appear in this select group include Leeds United's Jamie Shackleton, Swansea City striker Oli McBurnie (formerly Bradford City) and England Under-17 World Cup winners Steven Sessegnon (Fulham) and Billy Crellin (Fleetwood Town).

Next one from the SUFC conveyor belt?

He's been given the number 4 shirt with his personal shirt sponsor eblazened underneath "Sale" is apparently a subsidiary of the Scarborough group, Kevin McCabe was quoted as saying, "it's a great deal for the lad and club to have such a suitable sponsor "

We have a prolific conveyor belt ... If Kev is still at the club and he does turn out to be the real deal, what will be the excuse when we sell ?

Can't use the old "big dogs of the premier any more"

I think we're already sold btw, pending the case, as we know these owners don't have the money we've already spent ..

I'm not sure what "hard to tell" means. But, I giggle at the general - "oooohhhh, funny name foreigner, I'll wear a string of onions down to the Lane" comments.
Angelo plays for Belize.

Well, you have names like Wan-Bissaka playing for England these days. 😂 his name could sound Italian but be Irish...

I was born of a generation (in the 50s) when loads of European (and other) people had been displaced. In those days Names didn't always relate to Nationality. Way it goes.....

Surely that only applies to 1/220th of other countries.

...... and is dating my mates niece. I think he may have even been in my local boozer with her family, obviously not drinking anything alcoholic. That's about as ITK I'll ever get about United.

Sorry pal but daft question...on an average week which United teams do watch?

Not as much as I used to outside of the first team, but I still see the other sides when I can.

Roughly two years later, here he is, looking stronger & powerful, scoring a Hat Trick in front of new Academy Patsy Jack Lester.

First time I've got round to reading that and on my last two watches of those mentioned, my thoughts pretty much echo the points you made...

Angelo bollocked by a team-mate for being greedy, Viggars mobile and very, very spookily, I thought to myself (I was on my own, Billy no mates) at the Coach and Horses the other night that he'd got a real knack of closing the keeper down well, multiple times he'd nearly had him.

What are your thoughts on Ayari?

I first saw Capello in July 2017 (Under 15 level at that time). Natch, I bollocked him for having an Exotic Name & therefore a Bad Attitude. Read here.

I noticed a Maguire and Brooks in the Development line up. Brought a remeniscent tear to my eye. Am I correct to assume neither are related to their more luminary elders?
