It’s instead of Souttar.Yes, and without sounding like captain obvious, it unfortunately means £4m less future income - which is another hole to fill (unless this is instead of Souttar).

My missus says I have always had the weirdest sense of humour she's ever seen, part of the reason she loves me, that and my 10 inch todgerYou must have a mind like a sewer……….

think 4m is a good deal for us with anel and although im a fan of souttars hes not twice the value of anelIt’s instead of Souttar.
Yeah the original poster is likely just some school boy.Oh is that why Nixon is questioning who it's written by? I thought he'd just lost the plot
We desperately need a CB who can play the ball forward with his feet, progress into midfield etc.Is Anel the CB we need? Not against bringing him back but once again just feels like a lack of forward planning by the club, how will we shoehorn him in, what if we can't offload other CBs, everyone seemed positive about baptiste having a route through this season?
No idea wtf is happening. Why have we so many middling midfielders all playing the same role?
What's the plan, is it just in wilder we trust?
Kylian Yves, new French defender? With or without KY
I think the players we want gone will be loans out only...Still a good few players to ship out which I think is being overlooked, admittedly easier said than done. If the money for anel is 4 million minus what they still owe (allegedly) then we wouldn’t be far off raising that fee and having the wages. Therefore looking at signing them both.
Both Tanganga and Anel would be better at the side of Souttar rather than a partnership between them imo
Yes though at a more sensible price for SouttarHonestly I'd sign Anel first, then see if Leicester panic , I'd like us to buy both but 2 atm and/or wingers are at the top of the list .
One of his racing pigeons told him so when he got homeHOW DOES HE KNOW HE WANTS THE MOVE
Someone called Lena Cizdohdemha told himHOW DOES HE KNOW HE WANTS THE MOVE
Not questioning you, just want to know how you know? It’s instead of Souttar.
He doesn'tNot questioning you, just want to know how you know?
Absolutely spot on. It boggles my mind that so many posters on here are finding a way to make our pursuit of Anel a negative. For me, Anel is too good to ignore at that price, at this level... and if he genuinely wants to come back (and it seems he does), then we should find a way to make it happen and move the parts around to suit as soon as we can (get rid of McGuinness and / or Tanganga).
It should not come at the expense of the Souttar chase (or another dominant, physical CB) s they're totally different players.
I wouldn't usually be this gung-ho with it, but I think this is worth making an exception for... similar to the McBurnie deal we didn't do last Summer.
I’m not ITK on this but I don’t know that Wit is his mouth piece, from what I see and have heard, they’re good mates and probably shares more than is good sometimes. The more you read Hall's columns, the more you can see he's Wilder's puppet, whether directly or indirectly, he's not hiding it very well.
Wit similarly says things that are anti-Board and pro-Wilder quite regularly and is clearly his best mates mouthpiece... you worry where that stuffs heading.
Yet another reason for a DoF (or similar) and not shoving all your eggs in the basket of Wilder & his pals.
Saying this - what if we don't sell McGuinness or Tanganga, and don't go after Souttar? Anel at LCB, Tanganga at RCB with McGuinness as the deeper, central CB?Absolutely spot on. It boggles my mind that so many posters on here are finding a way to make our pursuit of Anel a negative.
We know exactly what he brings… in a position where we’re short. It really is a no brainer if the financials stack up.
Whether we could get Souttar as well might hang on whether we can sell McGuinness at the right price. That said, I’d be very happy for him to stay. We’d have 4 very good CBs including Baptiste… with complimentary qualities.
Tbf, in this case it's actually two good players who are still in their prime and would unquestionably improve the squad. It is so United to be after 2 former players,be great if the cunts doing signings stretched beyond former players especially in the case of the new Tom Davies on loan for season
Didn't Wit quote someone as being our saviour during preseason camp, when a couple of blokes were seen with the owners in Valencia.I’m not ITK on this but I don’t know that Wit is his mouth piece, from what I see and have heard, they’re good mates and probably shares more than is good sometimes.
I’m sure sometimes what Wit posts is intentional with Wilders own backing and sometimes not. But I guess Wit and others hear stuff directly or indirectly and post it for their own reasons. Sometimes there is a wind up element, I’m sure
Yep .. I’d be happy with that… Baptiste a really good back up too. I think you’re right about how the 3 would line up.Saying this - what if we don't sell McGuinness or Tanganga, and don't go after Souttar? Anel at LCB, Tanganga at RCB with McGuinness as the deeper, central CB?
The only advantage we have is that we are probably still owed money off the original sale, yes that might affect us/mean we have to move on a player later but it can be used to offset the total value, salary wise we have freed up a big salary in Gus. Time will tellNot coming....not itk, just know other clubs have money in the back of the couch and will spend it. Sheffield United doesn't own a couch!!
I want Tanganga, Anel and Souttar !For me, Anel is too good to ignore at that price, at this level... and if he genuinely wants to come back (and it seems he does), then we should find a way to make it happen and move the parts around to suit as soon as we can (get rid of McGuinness and / or Tanganga).

I hope you are onto something there. The only advantage we have is that we are probably still owed money off the original sale, yes that might affect us/mean we have to move on a player later but it can be used to offset the total value, salary wise we have freed up a big salary in Gus. I think it's odd that he is already getting bombed out and he has only been there since last August.
