This was written about Mbappe a couple of months back so would assume the one match ban also applied to Ahmedhodzic too.


Mbappe will miss first La Liga game if he signs for Real​

Kylian Mbappe has to serve a sanction in Ligue 1 because he received his third yellow card in 10 matches in PSG's 4 - 0 win over Montpellier on May 14th. Should Mbappe stay at PSG, he will serve his suspension in Ligue 1's opener next season. Alternatively, if he moves to Real Madrid, he will have to serve it in La Liga's opener next season.

It is a 1 march suspension which has to be served in the very next game which is now complete.

However if we had signed him after 8th August he wouldn't have to miss any games as that's when slate wiped clean.

He was suspended for 1 game or until 8th August whichever one came first... Quite simple really

Perhaps it was the second time Ahmedhodzic got 3 bookings in 10 games, so he got an extra match? Like a second straight red of the season earns you three games etc.

Simple perhaps, but not nearly as big a thing to moan about as a 2 game ban! 🙄
 

Lad looks an absolute diamond he’ll get plaudits for his work going forward as he should be he stood up today against one of the best physical sides in the division who’s bread and butter is set pieces and did it well. Also he times a slide tackle perfectly with what seem like go go gadget extender legs. Looks a cut above the Championship already. 3 million? Cheap at twice the price.

But yep, he's a high quality ready made Basham successor

Club must have been scouting for one like him for years
