Experienced, strong, no slouch, top drawer left foot. Swansea possibly not in a financial position to turn down a loan-to-buy arrangement (he's their highest earner).

He linked superbly with Brewster at Swansea last season, and could give us the option to play 3 up front.

Top pro and character, who could really lift the dressing room.

That link with Brewster could be critical -

though it’s not like he’s had a chance to develop one with moose or Burke yet

We might find it hard to convince him to join, after all there's a chance we might be swapping divisions next season.

This is true. Could do with them dropping a lot of points in next 3 or 4 games!

I wasn't aware tabloids think he's on 80/90k a week. I'd assumed half that, particularly after a relegation clause.

He's out of contract this summer and Swansea won't be able to retain him unless he takes a big paycut there.

Been released by Swansea. Could he 'do it' at the Lane?

Can't see us paying 80,000 a week. This was mentioned in play off final, so will probably go to a prem team

I would be straight on the phone to offer him a contract. When I saw his name in this thread my immediate thought was "totally unrealistic, no way we can afford that"...

Free transfer you say?

Would expect a LOT of competition for him..

Can be a damn good player on his day. But I cant be arsed with signing much more players towards the ends of their careers for the time being.

He won't be on £80k/week in a few weeks time. He may get an offer from the Prem club, if not Champ clubs are likely to have a chance of landing him, and other interest likely from places like Turkey and USA.

The thought of Utd signing him doesn't exactly fill me with excitement although he's not the worst suggestion that's been made on here.

Quite a big re-building job at Swansea, him Guehi, Woodman and Hourihane gone. The spine of their side really

Guehi looked quality. Big strong and good on the ball. We should get him on loan.

Would seem an obvious signing for Palace.

Zaha doing his yearly 'get me out of here routine'.

He'd be an obvious alternative on a free plus his brother is already there.
