Imagine a Blades v Owls league game being moved to a different country?
Hardly the most likely fixture they would cherry pick though is it?

That's where the 'imagine' bit needs to come in mate!Hardly the most likely fixture they would cherry pick though is it?
Oh yeah......money, AGAIN.
Too much of a culture shock for the pigs. What, like Rotherham?
Half of it was played underseas, we were sunk by Christmas…To be fair, I’d have been happy for our fans if the whole of the 23/24 had been played overseas!
If they ever did that with a blades match, I’d be down the club and handing my season ticket back. I’d be done with the game.
I’d be surprised if there isn’t an uproar from the fans of these two clubs
Can’t I just support my local team anymore?Think fans need to make up their minds.
Do they want the best players and success or not. Increasing/ boosting finances usually comes at a price.
The Spanish clubs can’t compete with the Premier League, tv income isn’t even 50% what the PL receive. Also the PL is easily the most popular and most watched league in world football.
What can the Spanish league do to compete with the English Premier league?
They can create new lucrative multi millions dollar markets. Football is big business, you either grow or dwindle, your choice.

It's a working class sport! Half our fans are probablt living beyond their means watching us at the fucking Lane!!!Personally I’d be over the moon for us to be that big a deal that they’d actually want us to play in the states. Would be booking a flight as soon as it was announced.
And that is why, because non-supporters spend money on merchandise in the club shop whereas genuine fans don't, it's happening over here with some of the premier league big six as well. They have customers who arrive late, go early, and spend stupid amounts of money on merchandise, unless they are lucky enough to catch one of the tee-shirts fired into the crowd from a fake cannon. And don't even get me started on the f*****g 'kiss-cam'
GIVE ME MY SPORT BACK!!!!
In todays world it is grow or die. Football is no longer the flat cap wearing, woodbine smoking and beer guzzling pastime that even the players used to do at half time, and the sooner our fans more than any other in world football realise it the betterCan’t I just support my local team anymore?
It’s not grow or die
I don’t think it’s been that for 30-40 years. But that also doesn’t mean that growing is playing games in the USA either. Money is one thing but so are the fans and clubs won’t have it if their fans don’t turn up for the rest of the seasonIn todays world it is grow or die.
