80 million pounds worth of parachute payments, and they’ve spent nothing, with the season already up and running.
This is a once and for all opportunity to maximise this advantage, but the money is not being spent, on the team. The training ground infrastructure is sub-standard, with no money spent on it,either, despite promises, which would at least leave a lasting legacy for the club.
They’ve contrived to lose the best manager we’ve had in decades, because he got fed up with it all.
We’re now scratting around last minute looking at bargain basements eg. charlie kirk from `Crewe, for 500,000. No doubt one or both of Ramsdale and/or Berge will be sold at the end of the window, whilst the owner sits at home, never going to the games, counting the money.
So a plea from the heart, come on, show us you want it, put your hands in your pockets, and don’t miss this opportunity, we may never get another one.

Not sure which club you're talking about there

It just goes to show that all you need at this club for the fans to think you're amazing is to be born within 5 miles of Bramall Lane.

Truth is Wilder spent a fortune buying these players.

He had players he could motivate like Warnock had, but as soon as quality was required he was out of his depth because his Sheffieldness won't allow his brain to recognise quality.

As soon as players arrived who weren't in it for nights on the Peroni and an all in it together attitude he'd lost his motivational skills with a bit of bullying skills thrown in for good measure too.

Having lost this ability he then had a mental breakdown, threw his toys out of the pram and wouldn't listen to anybody about anything, lost the dressing room because of his stubborn Sheffieldness, and then blamed his departure on everybody and everything else he could think of.

He'll have a couple of successful , really insightful seasons, then spend his media earnings on a massive house extension by Bodgit and Run Builders (Sheffield) Co Ltd, then end up spouting twaddle a la Garth Crooks.
Sound familiar?? 😉

Think you’re all missing the point.
This was not a thread about Chris Wilder. All I said about him was, he was our best manager in decades. To be honest even the most fervent of Wilder haters can’t deny that, eg League 1 to 9th in the Prem.
This was a thread about pleading with the Prince to spend some of the parachute payment money on players, or the training ground.Didn’t expect opposition to that.

Nah, it was a clichéd riddled shit post that reads like someone shouting at a wall while adding nothing of value.

Is the Prince even a forum member?

If the Prince is on this forum.
come on back your new manager, and get some players in.
He/we need to back Slav.
With what per say. What would make you happy at night when you closed your eyes. Spending 10/20/30 million. On who?
It’s like screaming an answer when you only know a tenth of the problem.

“Just spend muneh” there that’s sorts it all. Guaranteed 100 points and promotion

Funnily enough, `I don’t have a scouting system to hand who have been, I hope, preparing a list of players, who areavailable and can improve the team.
West Brom have got Alex Mowatt in,Fulham have bought Harry Wilson, whilst we dither about.
it’s plain to see we need new blood in the form of a creative midfielder, or are you happy with our present midfield?

What happened to all these great players the Prince said we could have signed, if Wilder would have let him?
Still waiting.Who’s stopping him now?
Only signing so far is someone Wilder wanted to sign 8 months ago, and he’s finally sanctioned it.
