I wasn't sure if this meant something or if you were having some sort of breakdown, but I googled it. In my defence I wasn't born for another year after the promotion season so I'm allowed not to know the chant...I hope.
 
I was told by someone who is high up in the club that Brian Deane didn't like speaking in front of audiences which is why he didn't speak at the bassett's boys evening.

Twenty five quid seems a lot of money...

If it was for charity then fair enough.

Mind you on rechecking the advert, it does say intimate evening.... Not sure how much the going rate is for 'intimate evenings' in Sheffield or what 'activities' are on offer from our retired deadly duo...

Anyone know if I should alert my Mum, who always had a soft spot for Deano and is still single??
 
Fast forward 20 years, who will our kids be having an evening with?

Ched, Billy, Che, Baxter, Jim.......

Think they'll have to wheel out an oxygen bottle and a nurse and keep the usual suspects going or find another use to reach into our pockets

Nice to see the legend that is Brian Deane boozing on West St, not been there for a few years, does The Hallamshire still sell Tetley's and get full of wannabe pigs on a Saturday night?

I remember the promotion 'celebrations' up that way when we went up and they went down... The wannabe's didn't know what was happening that night!

Yeah I think some time late last year he started working with the strikers in the academy so it seems he's taking on the role of boosting the youngsters.
