I'm just happy that we haven't signed the lad on a permanent for a shit load of money. He can slink back off to Chelsea any time as far as I'm concerned.

The 'attempt' to tackle their lad on Saturday for their 2nd goal was fucking pathetic and theres been a few instances this season where I've watched him closely and he appears to not want to know. He's only a young lad granted and he may come good for someone else, but right now young lads with the heart of a pea, are not required or wanted at the Lane.

It's time for those who want to be here long term to bang a few heads together and show some fight. I think Ampadu would struggle to get into a bag of crisps atm.

Amazing how opinions have changed on Ampadu.

I thought he looked decent at the start of the season when he dropped in at Centre Half.

I thought he was ok as a defensive holding midfielder. Gary Neville was talking last week about Declan Rice at West Ham being compatible to Dier at Spurs. A decent centre half, decent defensive midfielder but they don’t have the passing ability to be a really good midfielder. For me Ampadu is in that category. He’s an adequate back up in midfield but we need Norwoods distribution when Berge is out.

Ampadus form has also suffered like the team around him, but I think he’s a bit of a square peg (with rounded edges) in a round hole

I wouldn’t send him back unless we had someone better lined up though

If Ampadu wasn't a Chelsea player he would be nowhere near the Wales team he is as weak as piss and fucking hopeless. If we don't play him it would be to Chelsea's advantage to take him back and loan him out to league one to toughen him up.

My point is if he is in the back three, he has to be central but that position is already taken up, if he's in midfield he should be central but that is taken up.

We are doing the round/squad peg things with players this season and it's showing in their performances.

This was the kind of performance I expected from him when he signed calm composed and comfortable on the ball wasn’t caught out positionally either a top performance.
