So far this season in the league, only two of our matches have had the same result.

15 Aug - Sheffield United 2-0 Chesterfield
22 Aug - Sheffield United 2-0 Blackpool

All the rest have been unique.

That was away.

So it was 0-2 rather than 2-0.

But the result is still a 2-0 win.

Just as losing to Port Vale 2-1 and Millwall 2-1 is still a 2-1 defeat. Where the match was played is immaterial.

Same goes for 2-2 draws.

Great stat PetrDNloveyou810. Don' listen to the haters!

The home team is also identically spelled on both occasions! :)

I think he's just having a bit o' fun mate ;)

2-2 against both Bradford and Southend.

Ah, but one was home and one was away

We've had no repeat of a home result (except a 2-0 win) and no repeat of any away result.

Pretty astounding, isn't it?

Coincidentally as stats go, and I am in shock as I type this. Since our relegation from the Premiership we have played 46 league games every season. What other club can boast such a record!

I`ve got a hunch that 46 games will be enough this season

Another stat which might be amazing but I'm not sure as I've not done any research.

Notice how our last 5 or 6 managers have never managed again anywhere.

Is our club the graveyard for managers?

Do any other clubs have worse records where when their manager is sacked then they're on the scrap heap?

Just remembered Kevin Blackwell did get a few weeks managing at Bury.

Think MobileBlade meant 1970/71 season when Spurs and Arsenal were the only teams not to have completed 42 games on 1st May 1971? They played their final game on Monday 3rd May 1971
Sorry Darren just looked it up again and you are right. They played each other in 1971-72 on 11th May 1972 (Tottenham won 2-0 at Highbury). Most of the other clubs finished their games on Sat 22 April and the FA Cup Final was on Sat 6th May (which Arsenal lost to Leeds in). After 22nd April, Arsenal played Man U on Tue 25th April (won 3-0), Coventry away on Mon 1st May (won 1-0), Cup final on 6th May, Liverpol at home on Mon 8th May (drew 0-0) before the finished with the Tottenham game on Thursday 11th. Some fixture backlog that!
