I'd be up for this, it'd need a hell of a lot of us to raise a six figure sum though.

That depends on how the club are currently interpreting 6 figures.I'd be up for this, it'd need a hell of a lot of us to raise a six figure sum though.
Fair point. I reckon £20 would be the limit for most people though, so that still means we'd need 5,000 people just to get £100,000.That depends on how the club are currently interpreting 6 figures.
My main concern is surely it should be Ramsden's Currency with an apostrophe?
I was counting pence as well, given the club’s track record worth these things.Fair point. I reckon £20 would be the limit for most people though, so that still means we'd need 5,000 people just to get £100,000.
It'd be great if we could do it though.

It has to be Crab Industries surely?!
I’m led to believe it’s the small end of 100kFair point. I reckon £20 would be the limit for most people though, so that still means we'd need 5,000 people just to get £100,000.

Well up for it too mate, I'd happily pay for us to have no sponsor on the shirt.I’m led to believe it’s the small end of 100k
It’s not likely to happen, however, I am up for toe dipping and seeing what the outcome could be. It would be the hipsterist of hipster moves if the club ever went for summat like this. All for it.

If the club want to pass it onto the cost of a season ticket then I'd happily pay £100, it'd only be about a tenner a month. The club have it in their power to organise a fans sponsorship. Just add a £20 sponsor surcharge onto the cost of each season ticket. 20k x £20 = £400k. Thats probably not far off the total Ramsdens and Door Deals are jointly paying.
I'm sure after this abomination most season ticket holders would be delighted to give an extra £20 to see the team playing in shirts sponsored by them. Mind you thats provided we can make sure the shirt has stripes on the back, front and sleeves.

That’s the sticicking point. And it’ll be much more expensive int top flight in 2020You think it's realistic to expect more people than actually buy replica shirts to agree to pay towards raising enough money to replace commercial partners/sponsors so that they don't appear on that shirt.... Ignoring the fact that you don't know how much those sponsors actually pay?

Sorry if I touched a raw nerve. There was no intention on my part to denegrate the good work Door Deals have done in sponsoring the Blades.
know its possible to change the colour of your logo to blend in with the current strip because thats what they did on my advice.
To an extent I agree as we wouldn't need this if we got to the premiership. I think its more about fans having some involvement in the design of the shirt rather than removing sponsor logos provided they fit into an agreed colour scheme and blend into the shirt. We have plenty of expert shirt designers on s24su that could contribute. Not in the slightest, so hope It didn't come across that way
Just have serious doubts that when less than 20k shirts are sold, that 20k people would commit money to the sufficient level to replace sponsors with no benefit other than removing two logos.
It absolutely is and yet despite changing it on at least the keeper kits, they appear to have chosen not to on the home, unless whoever photoshopped dropped one![]()
Is that a hint?
How do you get 20,000 in an excecutive box. Just asking.
Hasn't anybody suggested “this player for sale” as the slogan, or is this yesterday’s news.l
