He's got a really high stock at league 1 and league 2 level.
But it would be a massive leap of faith for a PL to take such a big risk.
PL clubs have millions and don't need to take a risk, they can bring it someone with relevant experience and a top cv. Wilder has NEVER even managed in the Championship, never mind the PL
And has no experience managing big egos or millionaires on massive salaries.
Wilder is an old school manager, not sure it would work in the PL unless he has some of his own men in the squad.
A move to Palace could make him rich, but he would be thrown in the deep end and it could seriously damage his career meaning he'll be for ever a lower league manager.
Wildler going to Palace would be like Nathan Thomas going to Boro.
If you ignore money Thomas best move to develope his career is at a club like Sheff Utd
Again forget the money Wilder next career progression should at an ambitious club at Championship level.
If Wilder goes to Palace then it would be similar to Jordan Slew going to PL Blackburn and we all know what that move did to Slews career. Suspect Wilder knows in heart the timing is wrong to move to the PL.
