22 shots yesterday. A far cry from 1-5. Yes, it was bad under Weir and not great under Clough, but not to the levels of boredom and frustration under Warnock in the Championship when it wasn't working.

People seem to remember the good seasons but completely forget the bad ones. As for getting him back it's a ridiculous idea. We've all moved on. Look forward not to the past.

I agree. Warnock spent around 3million near the end of the season to save us from relegation Fathi Shelton etc. And Then Didn't Select Them to do the job they were bought to do. Poor manager in my eyes.Just a Big I Am . ...If he came back I would pack it in.

A the level we are at you need a manager who understands what is needed to get out.

Certain managers, like NW knows what is needed.

Many Blades fans and certainly many on here thought Adkins was some sort of magician with mystical powers on promotion - how wrong some are feeling now.

It is looking like Adkins and crew don't have a clue how to get out of this division - for all NW's issues, you could NEVER lay that claim at NW door.

This club is heading for a number of scenarios:

1) Adkins gets sacked at season end - club tries again with another named manager.
2) Adkins stays with the remit of doing a Charlton style clear out - which might or might not work.
3) We actually realise that we need a Warnock clone - Paul Cook/Keith Hill - someone who COULD actually get us out by signing none descript players CAPABLE of getting us out of here by playing the type of football needed to get us out.

Sorry, the Adkins bubble has already burst - trying to give these average footballers bought to play a 4-5-1 style of Clough and being incapable of getting them to change.

Crisis? yes we have yet another crisis on our hands.
