All those who didnt want Wilder back

Here 🙋‍♂️ My reasons for not wanting him back weren't football related. He's a loudmouth gob-shite who embarrassed the club numerous times with his behaviour. At times he acts like one of the embarrassing old boys who turn up coked off their face looking for a scrap. Wasn't and still isn't someone you'd want to represent the club on a global stage. Will most likely spit him dummy out and sneak out the back door next time we hit a rough patch...

There We Are Then……

I didn’t want Wilder back. The football was poor last season and we were riding our luck in most games.

The past four games have indicated a dramatic turning point in the way we approach games, and have been better than anything from his second spell at the club.

Happy to be proven wrong if this form continues; but I am apprehensive that we’ll revert to type.

His record is P15 W7 D1 L6, the recent form is fantastic but overall it’s been nothing special and too early to have a review Wilder’s third spell.

Let’s judge him at the end of the season.
So naive and full of horse
Those stats take no account of the starting position. It’s an immense turnaround and you full well know it.

Nice and unexpected that he's just continued with the amazing job he did last season. I didn't expect that. It must've been very depressing to walk into that shit show after so much hard work last season

It’s 4 matches, we’ve done nothing yet.

Is Cannon now a successful signing based on his recent form? Of course not, it’s silly to judge on such a small sample size.

All I’m saying is it’s far too early to judge Wilder’s third reign.

I agree re end of season

But the morale and team cohesion was so fucked it’s a bit harsh to include the first few games, he was working out partnerships, formation and bringing in JR & PB

Not his biggest fan but can’t fault his work so far

It must really pain you to see us on such a resurgence, long may your weird pain continue

Where are you now?
How good was that?
Five matches
Four wins one draw.
Four without conceding.
13 goals for. 2 against

Today I thought we outplayed and out performed a decent side in every department . A side who were top two recently. Things are coming together nicely. I'm beginning to be more positive. It can only get better.
ALL since the return of Wilder of Nazareth.
Wanted him back, didn’t want him sacking in the summer and am thrilled he’s turned it around. Never in doubt for me.

And people wonder why there's issues with fans on the subject of Wilder 🙄

I’m saying it’s not.
It’s a huge turnaround from where we were when he came in. If you don’t acknowledge that then it’s foolish. I’m not talking about where we end up but that end point is more about COH than Wilder. What Wilder has done since the clusterfcuk that was SeLLLLLLEs is truly remarkable. We’re chalk and cheese from that debacle at Portman Road.
Tek a breath and allow some measure of admiration for the job so far. Don’t be so bitter and deluded.
Enjoy the ride. Nowt to lose from here on in.
It could be a damp squib or it could be unprecedented joy and delirium. Let’s hope it’s the latter cos this division has nowt in it to fear.

Did you actually go?

We've gone from absolutely dire under Selles,to ripping the arse out of Stoke who are definitely a good champ side.

We pressed the hell out of them, we dominated, it could have been 6, forget where we will end up, Al & Chris have turned a sack of shit totally around.

Never ever should he have been sacked and its not hyperbole to say if we had started with this pair we would definitely been there or thereabouts.

Far too early don't talk codswallop - 'eat your humble pie'. From zero after 5, regardlees of mentalists talking about still going up, his job was to salvage and keep us in THIS division - he's literally worked miracles.

Joy to watch. Always the best person for the job. Loves United and knows his onions. UTB

Attitudes can change sooo quickly he's great, he's shit he's great people ought to calm down,

I think we're going to win the league, mind you in a couple of weeks we could saying are we in a relegation scrap.

Wilder takes a huge amount of credit.

But I’m afraid my 13 year old is going to have to claim this one.

Chris did lose a few at first.

Meanwhile she landed in UK, to sort this shit show out, just before the QPR game.

She’s now rocking P5 W4 D1 L0 F13 A2 Pts 13/15

Chris, you're welcome. We go back after the Norwich game so please keep it rolling will you?! 😉

So, you’re either missing something or just dismiss what Wilder had to contend with last season
A complete squad rebuild after losing circa 19 players
-2 starting points
Uncertainty over take over
The fucking dynamite man situation
The aftermath of a dreadful season and relegation.

But of course. Are you not entertained?

Fucking strewth 🤦‍♂️
Have no idea what this fuckwit has posted but how have you not got this knob on ignore?

Perhaps he's started listening?

Against Derby and up to that point we were poor.

Everyone knew 4-4-2 was the right formation with Tanganga at CB.

Finally it dawned on Wilder too. and guess what, he changed it, and we start playing well and winning.

I hope we've turned a corner, but let's ease up on all the Messiah, told you so bollocks until we've had more than 4 good games.

Yep. Just four weeks ago (after the 0-0 with QPR) he'd been 'found out' and we were certs for relegation in many people's view

I’ve been told he’s not the messiah, just a very naughty boy.

Maybe we should have signed BB Diaz on a permanent instead.

1 in 13 for Derby 0 assists so far.

I think we’re currently playing better than we did for most of last season.

Signing Bamford has been a stroke of genius—allowed us to play 2 up top in a system that gets the best out of everyone.

Most of all, credit to Wilder for keeping faith with Peck who is proving that form is temporary but class is permanent.
I used to be regular on here over a period of years but I have been 'forced off' by the latest bunch of anti-Utd wankers who now frequent this place. The final straw was a couple of well known posters ridiculing and abusing me over my enthusiasm for signing Bamford, and being told football maybe wasnt for me. Bamford looks OK to me as they vanish into thin air , no doubt to return at the next draw. I dont, didnt need that crap in my life hence Ive become a part time contributer now ,and up yours to the miserable twats.

It's a shame but the trolls seem to be driving away a lot of the more even handed or positive posters away

For somebody who was trying very very hard to see positives that didn't exist in the summer, you've had a bit of a transformation.

13 goals in the last 4 games. Beating Leicester and Stoke in the last two, think we can get behind a run like that. Maybe even be optimistic.
