Don't know if you agree but I personally would like to see 1 thread dedicated for as much actual information as possible to keep everyone in the loop as opposed to several different threads all beating about the same bush?. If possible and most importantly if you agree Foxy / Linz could you sticky please.

I will try and gather as much proper info as I can as it arrives and bold it this opening post for reference if you like so feel free to add anything as and when it comes in from tickets to coaches.

LATEST TICKETS:

According to the Hull website the FA will make an official decision tomorrow as to which match will be played on which day, upon this decision being made the tickets can then go to print later in the week.

LATEST COACHES:

OTHER RELATED NEWS:

Ridiculously the second semi final date of Sunday 13th April clashes with no other than The London Marathon. Around 36k runners take part and the approx around 500k line the route travelling in to the capital from allover the uk which will make things a bit of a pain in the arse. Fingers crossed for the Saturday for hopefully on police advise due to it being some what a derby and more police resources being required.

SEB: Heavy engineering work scheduled on the Jubilee line on this weekend.

if you're getting the train down, i highly recommend the euston tap (location should be obvious), wide range of reasonably priced beers (for london) of all descriptions, believe jaipur is on an all times

I suppose this is dependant on whether we are playing on the saturday or the sunday mate.

Ridiculously the Sunday semi final clashes with no other than the London Marathon which will bring a good few areas of london to gridlock and standstill I would imagine, not ideal to say the least.

I hope the TV people don't do us in again. I hope it is 3.00pm on the Saturday.

HH

Sunday for me, as the missus has booked the fooking holiday flying out on the Saturday. Noooooooo! Blades, Bar, Beer it has to be then.

Come on Iceland, stoke that volcano up will ya?

I could be wrong, but pretty sure this isn't such a rarity for them to be over same weekend. It's not as if the marathon route even goes close to Wembley, personally I don't see it being an issue at all.

I wanted to stay in a hotel either way. Prices are ludicrous due to the marathon ffs.

Wembley might not be near the marathon route however of course it will have an impact.

Blades fans who have in the past travelled into london via any of the main train stations will have issues as it will be packed

Blades fans who wish to stay overnight will have issues with rooms and if they do get a room as said above it will be priced sky high due to the marathon.

And.....just overall congestion from traffic from the M1 into London will be shocking due to the marathon. Might not be close to eachother but directing that amount of fans into a city that already has an additional 550k plus due to an event to me spells traffic and issues.

Add to that serious amounts of engineering work on the jubilee line and you have added more serious problems

Let's hope we do get the Saturday.

Clashing with the fancy dress running race would be a pain

Might make it a London weekend. Failing that the usual (three times a loser) minibus!

Why can't they postpone/cancel the marathon when a serious event is in town? The sight of thousands of self-centred fucking idiots in fancy dress is about as relevant as Curling in the Olympics. Oh I forgot. It's all for charidee. Nothing to do with them boring everybody shitless about 'how well they've done'.

I think it's rather ambitious to suggest that all Wembley info shall be contained here - especially when there's already about 5 threads going already! :D

London has shitloads of hotel rooms. This is a non-issue.

Unless you're planning to be in London at 8am, then your travel plans will also be largely unaffected by congestion.

The jubilee line work however is a bit of a bugger. Your best option is to get the one stop train from marylebone.

There is no planned work on the Jubilee line that weekend according to the tfl website.

Last time I was at Wembley I got the Metropolitan Line out from Baker Street to Wembley Park and back from Wembley Central to Marylebone on the one stop mainline train you refer to.

A piece of piss.

Even if we get the Saturday, it's far from ideal for those who would fancy staying down in the smoke.
