What a fucking day. Beers in t'Cremorne, first beambeack, unbelieveable scenes in the concourse at half time and a result to be proud of (although we should have won)
Add to that a brilliant (if chaotic and a bit dangerous) welcome home for the players.
The twenty or so still at it in the garden of the Railway an hour ago have stopped and theres some wobbly legs walking up and down Bramall Lane. The bar at the Copthorne looked like a bomb site earlier on when I snook out to get a fishcake butty.
Fucking great day to be a Blade, and great to be up in Sheffield this weekend (I'd arranged a 40th school reunion coincidentally for this weekend and my Mrs booked us into the Copthorne)
