Meanwhile Boro actually do something at half time and turn around a one goal deficit and won.

If we want to look back at where we lost the automatics we can point to this game where the manager pretty much got all his decisions wrong from start to finish.

I missed today as I went to Twickenham to see England get there arses handed to them on a plate. I’m mainly commenting because I watched the away game while I was on holiday in Cornwall and loads of people on here were up on arms at us drawing with them. I said at the time that we’d batter them at ours. I looked up the form guide before the game and Luton have been really good away and to be fair to them they have had a helluva season. . . But, I still expected us to put them away. Maybe not batter them as per my earlier prediction. But still win as we were at home.

A few points:
Yes we need to score more. If you want to get out of this league you have to threaten. I’m disappointed that it appears we didn’t today. We’re slipping to a goal a game, which isn’t enough.

Bogle: I like him but have always thought he’s too casual on the defence. If Hecky wants to grind things out then he has to play Baldock.

Norwood: he’s still the man for me. It’s all about who you put around him. If Doyle is fit then for me we have to play both and find whoever compliments them as the other. If they are both there one can take over from the other, plus Doyle has a bite that I like.

Forwards: the embargo is the problem. I’d have loved a random new person on loan or something to freshen up our options. Without that then I can’t see why jebbo isn’t involved. He seemed to be progressing up to the red card at Wrexham and offers something different.

Your last three paragraphs. You've been to watch the rugby this afternoon and still seen what the majority of us who were at Bramall Lane also thought. This is Hecky's towel. It was once brand new and dependable where he could use it everytime he bathed or showered to get dry. Now it's lost it's wool, is full of holes and isn't fit for purpose.

Despite this Hecky still uses it everytime he has a bath or shower, as it's all he knows. Unfortunately the towel no longer does the job and fails to dry Hecky. After he gets dressed where his clothes are damp from his failure to dry himself, Hecky looks back at what happened, "For the first minute the towel was working then the water started winning the battle and I just couldn't get dry after that." Occassionally, out of desperation, he sometimes uses a flannel to try to soak up some of the water but his body remains wet and the outcome is inevitable.

Hecky still continues to use this towel and continues to bemoan it's inability to get the job done, despite there being fresher and new towels in the airing cupboard which he could use to get the job done instead.

What input does Stuart McCall have he of all people should know what is needed in midfield. I said it the day he came back to SUFC McCall is a serial loser as a manager and coach and once again it is proving to be the case.
Since the World cup break we have had one good performance in the league against Burnley otherwise the football has been dull, boring and lifeless no wonder there is not much noise and singing coming from the kop, go for a piss before HT and you will see hundreds at the refreshment bars knocking back pints they may as well stay in a nice warm pub. That is the excitement levels Hecky's brand of football generates. Something has to change and fucking fast or it is a fire sale in the summer and a Championship relegation scrap with the pigs as top dogs in Sheffield. Who would have thought it a few years ago? The trouble is the club is in a bloody mess from top to bottom not just Hecky .If we miss promotion we better get used to being shit for a few years mate . We cant sack him he was a cheap choice with a remit to strength the team from with in using the young ones coming through the ranks rather than buying players because the prince knew what position we were in regarding finance . Who would pay Hecky,s contract up? We cant afford a bog roll . No sorry we are where we are and unless the majority of fans are wrong about our proposed new owner we will be floundering for some time to come unless we get promoted . Just hope if we do get promoted the board sort our money worries out first which should be a first to do on our wish list before anything else .

United have never been good playing negative football as long as i can remember. They look a different team being more attack minded always have done . Being negative at home is a crime which is one reason why the crowd are some what subdued ..They don't like what they are seeing .
