We’d just got promoted from the 2nd division with the great Jimmy Hagan in our team. Believe we were sitting 2nd in the top flight and looking so comfortable.

Then Hitler decides to invade Czechoslovakia.....we were then denied 6 years of watching such a promising Blades team with such a fantastic player as Hagan.

Absolutely bonkers.

I mean this doesn't happen. Not to us. It must be how lottery winners feel for the forst couple of months.
 
For the first time in my SUFC life I'm trying to live in the present. It's too easy to recall previous highs and lows, or make predictions about tomorrow's possibilities - but in the meantime we need to soak up the moment and enjoy each and every one for what it is. This is the time to be a Blade - one that we, our kids and their kids will look back on with pride - UTB!

I think a couple of the players got killed also , one called Carr and the other may have been Hampson

I’m a Remainer, but Brexit won’t see us banned from the European tournaments. Other non EU nations play in them, don’t they?

Brexit will without doubt worsen many things, but I don’t think this will be one of them.
