Posted on Twitter by Peter Coates, who's a well-respected journo based in Argentina and covers South American football.

I'll be surprised if anyone on here has ever heard of him.

Agent talk, or does our scouting network actually span into South America?! Got to be bollocks surely.

Absolute bleeding cobblers - kid wouldn't get a work permit, and we don't have a Vitesse to send all our exotic youths to.

It’s Peter Green whose our South American talent spotter

Probably true.

Not the first bit I've read about us looking in Argentina especially and South America generally.

He looks really footbally in that photo and he'll speak English too so I demand we keep tabs on him.

Wasn't long ago Mitchell was on Sheffield Live talking about 'having a look in Argentina' to see how they do things...

Probably a load of bollocks but Paul Mitchell said when he was last on Alan Biggs' show that he had been over to South America a few times to have a look. Maybe this lad's one he identified.

This will end like the Falklands all over again. We are about to have our forum invaded by a load of Argies

So this finally puts to bed our pursuit of Juanpi then?

Independiente have rejected an approach from Sheffield United for their young midfielder Alan Soñora

Already a Fred

Already a Fred
1....

Do we actually need another attacking midfielder? Just sayin...
I agree, after two strikers I would prefer a player who can play RCB and ideally fill in at RWB. James from Chelsea but his injury and Frank Lampard will no doubt put a stop to that one. But definitely the “type” we need as either he or Bash could also play the “enforcer” in front of back four / five when playing Man City away and holding on for point with 89 minutes to go.
