Now, don't get me wrong. I'm not slating Corky, but, when he was appointed with MA, there were quotes that, "Alan Cork is the best striker coach around."
Have i fuckin missed something, or, when MA told him he had this cracking idea of getting Marcus Bent & Sam Vokes in to help in the fight against relegation, why he didn't turn round and either tell him to lay off whatever substance it was he was clearly abusing, or, punch him straight in the fuckin snout!
Or, were these kind of players, honestly, the only one's we ever had/have any chance of signing.

He's also the best set piece coach in the Western Hemisphere.

Just so long as you're not attacking or defending them.

I would suggest that based on current evidence Alan Cork isn't the best coach of strikers in his house.

I think the answer to that question is yes, people say we must be paying big wages for these guys?? i don't agree, loan wages are decided between clubs you can pay anything from 10-100% of the weekly wages and when we bring in players like Bent and Vokes i think we will be paying a very small percentage of there wages because no one else will have them so clubs are happy to take what they can get to get them in the shop window.

Not since Warnock had Blackie doing the coaching have we seen any sort of evidence that the coaching works.

I'm sure that they practice attacking set pieces but when you have players like Yeates throwing the ball in, its unlikely to produce results

I know someone who's good with strikers...

You can blame MA or Corky all you like but I don't see the strikers not making runs. I just see a midfielder incapable of finding them. Is Corky in charge of set pieces too? FUcking winds me up this set piece larky, it's not rocket science.

"Alan Cork is the best striker coach around."

It was a misprint. It should have read ' ...the best striking coach driver around.' He was on strike so we got him on the cheap to drive the strikers around. Coat already on

It may or may not be Corky, but someone has managed to turn Ched Evans into a decent centre-forward in the past couple of months. i think they deserve a bit of credit for that.

Yeah but alll they have done is given him a bit of a kick up the arse.

How long before dear old Margaret Hilda is mentioned on here.....

At the minute she is back in 1984, and is looking forwards to a nice holiday at the Conservative Party Conference at Brighton with her Dennis!
