I don't think 8th place is an impossible dream. Wilder's points total last season would have had us 9th (I think) over a full season.

Mythos may end up taking over the world but right now it has zero fucking idea about the Blades.

The play offs could extend to the top 18 teams and I'd still consider us outsiders at best.

Think alot of fans need to just temper everything. Yeah it was a bit damp yesterday. But think back to last season and we at least didn't look as leaky as a sieve.

But that isn't to say we won't end up in trouble this season. We barely created anything.
Nor to say we can't do anything. We looked decent defensively.

Nothing is decided on game week 1.

There's already been some slight shocks in this first game across the board.

Let's see if we manage to bring in some much needed decent recruits. And then we're we are at after 8-10 games.

I know West Ham and Burnley drew, but they played an exciting match and each scored 2 goals. We are nowhere near that level. We didn't even score 1 goal and won't unless something changes.
