I don't think 8th place is an impossible dream. Wilder's points total last season would have had us 9th (I think) over a full season.

Think alot of fans need to just temper everything. Yeah it was a bit damp yesterday. But think back to last season and we at least didn't look as leaky as a sieve.

But that isn't to say we won't end up in trouble this season. We barely created anything.
Nor to say we can't do anything. We looked decent defensively.

Nothing is decided on game week 1.

There's already been some slight shocks in this first game across the board.

Let's see if we manage to bring in some much needed decent recruits. And then we're we are at after 8-10 games.

But both of those teams conceded two goals. We haven't conceded any goals in the two games we've played, and scored three.

This time last year there was a lot of 'our goal against Bristol City was really good though' chat.

We lost to Watford in one of the worst performances I’ve seen the season we went up.

We also didn’t win a game until after the transfer window had closed in 21/22 season & we finished in the play offs.

If we can get Ndiaye & MGW back I think we’ve got a chance
