I'm chilled mate all I think is we look on the up after today's performance let's reflect from last season when we got mullered down there to today where looked a total better team ,the side today passed and moved the ball about and best we have seen for a while and Freeman looks a different animal this season ,I may be jumping the gun but gillingham are no mugs especially at home and we were the best side today so we should be very confident on today's performance that our early bad form is well over and things are on the up .
The problem with your OP was that it came across as if anyone who had complained so far this season was an idiot and yesterday proved that - and you was looking for an argument on the that topic.

I for one was very happy with the performance yesterday and dead chuffed with the result but I don't think we should get carried away. The performace was a massive improvement but it had sod all to beat, and I really hope we can continue to improve and play like that. However, it was still a long way from being the finished article. The defence looked good, the midfield looked better than it has and the players worked as a unit but the decision making in the final 3rd was still poor with duffy particularly poor in that part of the game - he must be able to give more than we've seen so far.

All in all, happy with what we saw and if we continue to improve we will climb the table - how far we'll have to wait and see. Oh, and I think as Petebalde pointed out, there were several of those "doom and gloomers" who were posting positive comments on other threads without necessarily getting too carried away.

Yeh, 20 assists in 2015 and 2016, plus double figure goals.

Wish we had a lazy player like that.
Didnt say I wouldnt like him lining up for us, never said he wasnt talented.
But theres something about that clubs further up the ladder dont like.

Wow seeing so many positive reviews after today's win it got me thinking where's all the regular members we usually see constantly posting when things are not going so well ??.

Negative reviews previously have been well justified ( and backed by Wilder ) . The positive reviews are well justified.

Bigger fish to fry by all of us .

Or it could be that - believe it or not - Gillingham have no received an acceptable offer for him, or even that they won't sell him? Hard to believe I know...

To be fair we had one after the first game last season and they're fairly commonplace as a thread.

And so the playground continues. If either forms of thread do anyone any credit be sure to let me know.

He looks like a Pikey! Would certainly put me off.

To be fair didn't some Championship club bid over £2m for him last season and Gills told them to fuck off? Perhaps it's just a case of a club knowing his value to them and not just off loading because there's an offer on the table. "Unheard of" I hear you cry.

Bollocks, took too long with my reply there.
That'll teach me to try and do some work at the same time as being on here.

They are posting some of those positive reviews. Can't you read?

Once again, it seems that someone can't grasp the concept of people being intelligent enough to criticise bad performances and bad decisions but at the same time being happy that we won and praising good performances.
We've got to be one or the other clearly, we can't be both

Some individuals (the Percey Sugden types) thrive on complaining.

Even if we played brilliantly and won 3-0.
They appear to have their nose put out of joint and would still complain saying our finishing was shocking And any normal team would have won 6-0.

Or the opposition were terrible so winning 3-0 and dominating the match is no big deal.
Actually that's the most common excuse for then slashers. Comments like Southend, Oxford, Gillingham, even top of the league Bolton are really poor so we should win. We weren't great against Gillingham but they are one of the best teams in this league and we were definitely superior, so it bodes well for the future. Just need to sort out consistency and building confidence.

The slashers seem to be more prone to exageration and losing touch on reality than the clappers.

I don't see any clappers predicting PL in 2 years or Champions League in 3 years
But I have seen plenty of comments that we'll be league 2 fodder and maybe even non league.

Thanks for your input and insight.

They had a couple of offers in the JTW but turned them down, then he got injured and was out for most of the season. Given his knee still seems to be giving him grief I guess interest has cooled a bit.

Seek them out and hang em high.

Now come on ........ you know very well that, "when a bigger Club comes in for one of your players, you have no choice but to sell", we've been told this by our "knowledgeable" and "astute" Board of Directors !! o_O

Just great to see you have all your gramma correct ,
now that is the most important thing , to some people on this site
we'd really have something to crib about then .

I criticised the team and manager for some awful performances and decisions. I didn't get to see the game on Sunday as I was away, but by all accounts it was a vast improvement.

The only problem I see here is the OP, who obviously thinks you can't criticise one performance and then praise the next. A little odd tbh.
